DO I NEED TO BE HOME TO RECEIVE A DELIVERY?
No, unless you would like assistance carrying the water inside your home.
CAN I SKIP A DELIVERY OR MODIFY MY ORDER?
We understand that you may leave town on vacation, or have extra people in town for Holidays. It is easy to modify or skip a delivery, just call or email our office.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU DELIVER?
Our water is delivered to your home or office every 2 or 4 weeks depending on your specific needs. You will be assigned a delivery day when you sign up with us.
HOW MUCH WATER DO I NEED
It may take some trial and error to get the exact quantity correct but we recommend about 60 liters per person per month.
HOW LONG CAN THE WATER BE STORED FOR?
Bottled water can be used indefinitely if stored properly, but we recommend no more than two years for non-carbonated water, and one year for sparkling water
Bottled water should be stored in a cool (i.e. room temperature), dry environment away from chemicals such as household cleaning products, solvents such as gasoline, paint thinners and other toxic or odorous materials, and away from direct sunlight.
WHAT IS IN TAP WATER THAT IS SO HARMFUL?
The City of Calgary publishes a yearly water quality report on their website that lists what is currently in the tap water. Included in this list are contaminants such as lead, mercury, aluminum, and arsenic. Recent studies have indicated links to these inorganic substances showing that they negatively affect our overall health.
Also, the City of Calgary does not test for pharmaceuticals in the water at this time.
PLEASE EXPLAIN THE $10 BOTTLE DEPOSIT ON THE 18.9 LITRE AND THE 11.4 LITRE SIZES?
The bottles that we deliver the water in are reusable and recyclable. If they are not returned by our customers it costs us money. Therefore we ask for a $10 deposit on each bottle. This deposit is returned to you when the bottle is returned. In order to minimize how much you pay in deposits, on the day of your delivery leave your empty water bottles outside so we can swap them with the full bottles we deliver.
If you order 4 bottles a month, we will request a $40 deposit on your first delivery day. On your next delivery day be sure to leave the 4 empty bottles outside so they can be swapped. If you only leave 3 outside then you will be billed an extra $10 for the extra bottle we deliver. Once you return the bottles, you will be reimbursed your $10 deposit.
HOW DOES THE BILLING PROCESS WORK?
When you set up an account with us we will require a credit card number to be kept on file. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. This card will be charged after each of your deliveries, and a receipt will be emailed to you. We also accept business cheques. Please let us know which payment method your prefer when your account is created so we can make the appropriate accommodations.
